In Super Battle Golf, items are the key to victory. While sinking the ball matters, stopping your opponents from doing the same is equally important. This guide covers the original launch item pool and the major Frozen Fairway additions that pushed the sandbox into a new phase.
How to Get Items
Items spawn in purple briefcases scattered around each course. Walk over them to pick up a random item. You can hold up to 3 items at a time - press F to drop an item if you want to swap for something better.
New in Frozen Fairway
The April 2026 update added two headline items that already show up constantly in videos and clips:
A high-risk power item that supercharges your next swing. It is built for highlight shots, but mistiming it can ruin your own position just as fast.
- Strong for long carries and comeback attempts
- Creates huge clip potential on open holes
- Harder to use cleanly than launch S-tier items
A control-heavy item that can freeze players, balls, and vehicles, and even create temporary ice over water in some situations.
- Excellent denial tool near choke points
- Can create or block routes depending on timing
- Feels especially strong in crowded end-of-hole chaos

S-Tier (Overpowered)
Fires a homing missile that locks onto the nearest opponent and stuns them on impact.
- Auto-aims, very easy to use
- Long stun duration
- Great for the "Home Run" achievement (125m+ knockout)
Allows you to leap forward and cover great distances quickly.
- Best mobility item in the game
- Can jump 100+ meters for "Frog Legs" achievement
- Combine with Elephant Gun for insane distance
A single-shot pistol that stuns opponents. Decent range but requires good aim.
- Get close before firing for best accuracy
- Can shoot landmines to disarm them safely
- Required for "Gunslinger" achievement (50m+ kills)
Creates a protective shield lasting 5-7 seconds that blocks ALL incoming damage.
- The only defensive item in the game
- Blocks even Orbital Laser!
- Save it for when you're one shot from winning
A-Tier (Strong)
Distracts opponents mid-swing, causing them to overshoot their ball significantly.
- Best trolling tool in the game
- Time it right as they charge their shot
- Need 25 interrupts for "Clowning Around" achievement
A drivable vehicle that stuns opponents on impact. Can hold up to 8 players!
- Press E to enter/exit
- Great for "Underwater Expedition" (drive into water with passengers)
- Opponents can dodge if they're paying attention
Grants an immediate speed boost for 10 seconds.
- Simple but effective mobility boost
- Use it to reach the ball faster
- Wasted if you get stunned while active
B-Tier (Situational)
Plants 3 explosives that stun players who step on them.
- Place in high-traffic chokepoints
- Can be disarmed: hold Alt to creep, then E to pick up
- Or shoot them with a pistol from distance
- Easy to avoid if opponents are careful
Calls down a massive laser strike on a marked area.
- Rare item - hard to find
- Marked area gives opponents time to escape
- Press Ctrl to dive out at the last second
- Can call it on yourself for "Phone Home" achievement
A double-barreled rifle with massive stun power but significant self-knockback.
- The knockback can be used for mobility!
- Shoot at the ground while jumping to propel yourself
- Combine with Spring Boots for "Frog Legs" achievement
- Dueling Pistol is usually better for combat
Item Strategy Tips
- Don't hoard items - Use them aggressively and grab new ones
- Manage your inventory - Drop weak items with F for better pickups
- Use terrain - Items near edges or narrow paths are more effective
- Target the leader - Focus on whoever's winning to keep things competitive
- Watch for self-damage - Landmines and Elephant Gun can hurt you too!
- Save Shield for clutch moments - Don't waste it early in the hole
